From the point of view of the tax burden the difference between ET and EOOD / Ltd. is minimal. At ET there is a 15% tax, which is DDL (income tax individuals). EOOD / OOD has a corporate tax of 10% but has a 5% dividend tax on the portion of the profit you decide to distribute at the end of the year and the total is again 15%. However, in terms of your responsibility, there is a significant difference between ET and limited liability companies (EOOD or OOD). In case you work through ET, for the obligations of your company responsible for the amount of your entire property as a physical person. This means that if your company owes money for state taxes, it has the right to claim your personal property that you own as an individual. Unlike ET, in EOOD / OOD, as a partner is responsible for the amount of paid-up capital, but not with its personal property. The company itself is responsible for its assets. The state expenses for the opening of EOOD / OOD compared to those of ET are about 50-60 leva more.
