Import of goods from Turkey

Import of goods from Turkey

Question:
Hello!
What documents are needed for accounting for the import of goods (mainly textiles, covers, etc.) from Turkey? Are invoices alone enough? Do I have to pay duty or VAT if the company is not VAT registered?
Thanks in advance!

goods from Turkey, customs agent, customs duty, VAT, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Stara Zagora Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
In addition to an invoice for the purchased goods, upon crossing the Turkish-Bulgarian border, the goods will have to be washed and VAT paid.
VAT is 20% of the value of the purchased goods. The duty depends on the type and quantity of the goods. During customs clearance, you will also be issued a customs declaration, which will be needed for accounting. You must also provide documents regarding the transport performed - bill of lading and transport invoice, which will be provided to you by the company that transports the goods.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
