Two employment contracts

Two employment contracts

Question:
Hello!

I work in a company on a 4-hour employment contract. I want to start a second job on a labor contract, but at 8 o'clock.

Is it possible to start the second job at 8 o'clock without notifying them of the first work at 4 o'clock?

And in this case, if they ask me for the second job (at 8 o'clock) when I receive a work book, how should I proceed? At the moment I still don't have a work book and I don't know if they should issue it to me and fill it in from the first job (at 4 o'clock).

Thanks in advance!

Answer:

Hello,

When working on a second employment contract, you are obliged to inform your second employer that you are already working on another employment contract (and not to do so, this will be established immediately after submitting the declaration to the NRA for your appointment with your second employer). The total length of employment under your two employment relationships may not exceed 48 hours per week, unless you give your explicit written consent to your second employer that the hours worked may exceed these 48 hours. Also, upon entering the second job, you will need to provide your employment record, which must be issued and completed by your first employer.

We hope we have been helpful to you.

Greetings!
