Leave under a management contract

Leave under a management contract

Question:
Hello,

Until recently, I had a management contract, but I was soon reassigned to another position. Should I be paid for my unused leave after signing a new employment contract? Or does it pay off when you leave the company?

Thanks in advance!

Answer:

Hello,

The Management Contract itself does not have paid annual leave, unless otherwise agreed and described in the contract itself. Respectively, if you have agreed to use paid annual leave, the possible payment in case of non-use must be explicitly agreed. In general, this is not a practice. If, however, there are similar clauses in your management contract, but you are subsequently employed in the same Company on an employment contract, then the unused paid annual leave is paid upon leaving the Company in which you are employed.

We hope we have been helpful.

Greetings!
