Income from IT projects.

Income from IT projects.

Question:
Hello!
I've been doing a freelance order from an online IT project platform for a few days now.
Do I have to declare these incomes, considering that at this stage they are around BGN 100.00 - 130.00 per month. The project is for 2 months.
What is the procedure and what should be done so that I don't have a problem and transfer them to my bank account.
Thanks in advance!

Bulstat register, free profession, Civil contract income from a project, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
We assume that you have not registered as a self-employed person in the Bulstat register. If our assumption is correct, then the cleanest option is to form your relationship with the person who gave you the order by means of a civil contract. In this case - even when the income is paid, the person who pays it (if it is a company) will withhold the tax that you will owe.
Since the amount is lower than the minimum wage, no insurance will be withheld from you. You will only have the obligation to submit an annual tax return next year, where the data from this civil contract will be loaded automatically (when submitted with a PIK from the NRA) and you will simply have to confirm them.
If the payer of the income is an individual, then you will have to describe the income yourself in the annual tax return and pay it yourself.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
