Rental of property from a company with suspended activity

Question:
Hello!
I have a registered Dental Laboratory - Ltd. My husband died and I want to close the company. The room I use has been converted from an apartment in a dental laboratory. I can no longer work because I am a pensioner. I want to rent out both workplaces. Can I rent out the premises if the company is closed and the premises are registered?
Thanks in advance!

rent, liquidation, own property, suspended activity, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
Your question has three options:
1. If the apartment in question is owned by the company, then upon closing (liquidation), all assets (including the apartment in question) will become the property of the owners of the capital (in case the company has no obligations to any creditors and the assets are not used to cover obligations). Once it becomes your property, you can rent it out as an individual.
2. If the apartment in question was originally your personal property, having been rented to the company for its activities, then after the company is no longer active, you can rent it to yourself as an individual.
3. If by closing the company you mean ceasing activity, but without liquidating it and the apartment is owned by the company, then in this case renting out the apartment is a commercial activity and there is no way that the company has suspended activity. The option is for this apartment to be transferred to your name and for you to rent it out as an individual, while the company remains suspended.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
