Drawing workshops
Drawing workshops
Question:
Hello!
I will be holding painting workshops in a room of my choice. The workshops resemble drawing lessons for a group of people with small modifications. After the end of the class, I plan to collect a visitor fee so that I can pay the running costs and eventually make some profit. I don't have a company yet, I'm a private person. My question is, how do I register to report the revenue from the fees I will collect from visitors? Is it possible to benefit from the patent tax? Do I need to have a cash register and issue cash registers?
Thanks!
Answer:
Hello,
Whether it is a business activity as an individual or as a business (legal entity), it is mandatory that you register with the Registry Agency. In view of your activity, the law allows you to carry on your business in two ways:
1. Registration as a legal entity. Cash receipts will need to be reported with a cash register. If you provide services to legal entities, you will need to issue an invoice along with the receipt. If you are earning money in a bank account, you will need to issue invoices. You will need to get insured and pay for insurance every month. An annual income tax return will be required to be filed on an annual basis. The tax itself is 10% on the company's profit during the year. The profit itself is determined by deducting all tax deductible expenses from all realized revenue.
2. Registration as a freelance natural person. In order to register in this mode, you must have a diploma, certificate or license to practice your profession (in your case, some certificate or diploma for education, with a drawing profile and, if necessary, a license to teach lessons) . In this case, you will need to re-secure yourself in the order described in item 1. It is not necessary to have a cash register. The determination of the annual income tax due is as follows: deducted from the amount of revenue generated during the year is statutory expenditure of 25% of revenue. The amount received is deducted from the contributions made during the year. The resulting amount is subject to a 10% annual income tax.
3. Registration under the patent tax regime. In order to register under this regime, you must provide local tax and fee services defined by law, the closest to your activity that the regime allows is "Entertainment or Sports Games". The registration is done in the respective municipality where you will do your business. In this case, you have to insure yourself again and pay the insurances under the regime of items 1 and 2. The cash register is optional. You do not owe a profit tax, but you owe a patent tax. Its value is determined by the respective municipality and is different for each municipality.
We hope we have been helpful.
Greetings!
