The first is that in order to earn an A1 form as a self-employed person so that I can work in another EU Member State, do I have to perform similar or the same activity in the last 3 months here in Bulgaria. Second: if the answer to the first question is Yes - how else
can I take advantage of the job offer abroad? The idea is that I have not performed similar or the same activity in Bulgaria.

In order to qualify for A1 as a self-employed person in another EU Member State, it is necessary not only to have previously performed an activity as a self-employed person in Bulgaria, but also to have the same activity in the same Member State. of the EU where you will go to work. Not if you worked here as a baker, for example, and go to work as a builder. You may still go, but Bulgarian tax and social security legislation will not apply to you and will need to be insured under the law of the country where you are going to work.
In our opinion, this situation cannot be avoided, since the A1 issuing authority (NRA) wants documents to be provided proving a number of facts such as:
- where is the center of your economic interests
-Do you maintain the conditions necessary for carrying out the activity in Bulgaria such as maintaining an office, production premises, if you have had employment contracts with workers, whether you continue to be a member of professional organizations, etc. - present a contract with the company from an EU country where you will be going to do a specific job, which describes exactly what you will do and for how long you will do it and see if it corresponds to what you did here.
In addition, the NRA has information such as: how long you were insured, for what type of activity you were insured, and what kind of person you insured (under a contract of employment or as a self-employed person), and you cannot present other types of documents proving such employment, what kind You need it.
