Conditions under which I can receive motherhood
Conditions under which I can receive motherhood
Question:
Hello,
I have the following question: can I get maternity (I'm pregnant in the second month) but am currently unemployed? I have a fragmented work experience total I think is about 16 months? Do I need to get started? Or is there nothing to do?
Thanks!
Answer:
Hello,
To be eligible for maternity benefits and child rearing until you are 2 years old, you must meet the following conditions:
- at the time of maternity leave (45 days before your due date) you must be insured for "common illness and maternity". ie you will need to be employed to get a maternity leave.
- at the time of maternity leave you must have at least 12 months of insurance. No matter how "fragmented" your internship is, it is important that the total is at least 12 months.
We hope we have been helpful.
Greetings!
