Unused probationary leave

Unused probationary leave

Question:
Hello!
I have a question related to the paid annual leave specified in my employment contract. It says that I am entitled to 20 days of paid leave per year, but I also have a 6 month probationary period that has not yet expired. I want to leave the company where I currently work, by mutual agreement with the employer. Given that this is not my first job, I have acquired experience that exceeds 8 months and the contract does not mention that I am not entitled to leave during this period, do I have the right to leave during the probationary period and can I require my employer to send it to me, provided I don't use it before I leave?
Thanks in advance!

Answer:
Hello,
Since the leave you are entitled to for the time worked at this employer has not been used, upon leaving you must be paid compensation for your unused paid leave under Art. 224 of the Labor Code.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
