Submitting a declaration for starting an activity
Submitting a declaration for starting an activity
Question:
Hello!
I have made a first expenditure from the initial capital, does this mean that I have started a business and I need to submit a declaration for SALT? What obligations arise for me after submitting this declaration and what are the deadlines?
Thanks in advance!
Answer:
Hello,
After you have already generated an expense related to the company's activity, it is appropriate to submit a declaration to the National Revenue Agency for starting the activity and for starting your insurance - in your capacity as a manager of the company. The deadline for submitting this declaration (dec. 5) is no later than 7 days from the date of starting the activity (the first expense or income of the company). After that, you must submit a declaration form 1 (declaration for your insurance) every month by the 25th of the month following the month for which you submit data (for example, the insurance data for the month of January must be submitted by February 25, for February by March 25, etc.) and accordingly pay your insurance contributions again in the same terms. After the year expires by 30.04. you must also submit Declaration form 6, which is again related to your insurance contributions.
In addition to your insurance obligations, you also have an obligation to submit an annual tax return to the National Revenue Agency by 30.06, an annual activity report to the NSI - 30.06 and to the Commercial Register - 30.09. If you have or will have a VAT registration, you will also have to submit monthly VAT returns by the 14th of the month following the month to which the VAT return applies. There are other declarations and terms that you may need to comply with, but they are more specific and relate to specific activities or actions that you carry out in your business - ie. are not applicable in all cases, but in strictly defined ones.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
