Hello!

I need advice on charging VAT when selling used cars imported from Europe. The company is registered under Art. 143 for the sale of used cars on margin. My question is whether I can sell a used car through a margin when buying under free of VAT - art. 138 free for Denmark and Belgium and art 41 DL 331/93 for Italy. The cars were purchased without VAT.

Once purchased from a used car dealer in an EU member country, it is no problem to sell the cars in Bulgaria under the provisions of Chapter 17 of VAT (ie on margin).
Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the legislation of these countries and cannot confirm to you whether these articles of their respective legislation mean that they are registered as dealers.
