Obligations of the agricultural producer to the state
Obligations of the agricultural producer to the state
Question:
Hello!
My husband registered as a farmer. Where can he get his pulse checked? What insurance costs should he pay per month? Does he have to pay VAT or just health and social security?
Thanks in advance!

Answer:
Hello,
You can check Bulstat on the website of the Bulstat Register - https://reports.bulstat.bg/bulstat-ireports/report.jsf?x_rpt=rpt1.
The minimum amount of monthly insurance contributions is BGN 260, which includes health and pension insurance. After the year is over, there is an obligation to submit an annual tax return, in which the income received for the past year must be declared. 40% or 60% of legally recognized costs are deducted from them (depending on whether the farmer processes agricultural products or produces unprocessed products) and a 10% tax is due on the difference.
Detailed information on the taxes and insurance payable, as well as the deadlines for submitting the various declarations, can be found on the NRA website - https://nra.bg/wps/portal/nra/taxes/godishen-danak-varhu-dohdite/zemedelski- stops
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
