An individual rents out rooms - does he issue invoices and receipts

Question:
Hello!

As an individual, I rent guest rooms for short-term accommodation for tourism. I have registered them in the Municipality as a place for accommodation class "B" / without categorization /, I have filed my Patent Declaration by January 31, I pay my tourist tax. My question is: As an individual, can I issue invoices for overnight stays / companies want one when they send staff on a business trip /, should I have a cash register at the site and if not - then what document should I give for the amount received in cash.

Thanks in advance!

rooms for rent, invoice, receipt, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia

Answer:

Hello,

There is no problem in issuing invoices to your customers. You can use a paper invoice header (you can buy one in most bookstores, and they can also make it more personalized, with your data entered in advance) or software (there are several free options for invoicing software, which would do a great job for you).

When accepting a cash payment, you are not obliged to issue a receipt from a cash register, but you are obliged to issue a cash receipt from a paper head for cash receipts (you can also buy one from most bookstores). Of course, although it is not obligatory, if you decide you can get a cash register.

We hope we have been helpful to you.

Greetings!
