VAT when selling a property from a non-functioning ET

VAT when selling a property from a non-functioning ET

Question:
Hello!
I bought a new apartment with Act 16 10 months ago. I want to sell the apartment now, but I have the following case: Years ago I had a company that is an ET and accordingly I was registered for VAT as an individual. My accountant tells me that when selling the apartment I must also pay VAT on the entire value. Is there an option not to be taxed, since this is the only property, there are no other sales, and the ET has not been operating for many years, and I am a MOL in an OOD company. The apartment was purchased from an individual.
Thanks in advance!

VAT Law, Sole Proprietor, sale of property, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia

Answer:
Hello,
Make a VAT deregistration of the ET and you will not owe VAT upon sale.
We hope we have been useful to you!
Greetings!
