Should I register a company or work under an employment contract

Question:
Hello!
I work as a waiter on a ship for a Swiss company, and my permanent residence is in Germany. Can I open a company in my own name, where my salary will be transferred? Are the employing companies against this practice and if so, why?
I also have an idea to import cars from the Netherlands to Bulgaria in my free time. Shouldn't the employing companies in principle be against this practice and if so, why?
Thanks in advance!

Answer:
Hello,
For your activity as a waiter on a ship, the option with a Bulgarian company will not be suitable, unless the transportation of passengers does not begin and/or end in Bulgaria.
Regarding the import of cars from the Netherlands to Bulgaria - there is no problem in carrying out such an activity with a Bulgarian company and, accordingly, paying taxes for this activity in Bulgaria. Profit tax is 10%. If we assume that you will buy used cars from individuals or second-hand car dealers, then the VAT on sales will be 20% on the difference between the purchase and sale price of the car. You will also have insurance contributions of about 300 BGN (this is the minimum option) for each month in which you operate.
I will answer your last question this way: employers are usually inclined to apply the option that is most profitable for them, just like you. If it would be more profitable or easier for them to hire you as a company, rather than as an individual on an employment contract - they will do it.
We hope that we have been useful to you!
Greetings!
