Receiving maternity leave on income from an additional business

Question:
Hello!
I am four months into maternity leave before the end of the first year and intend to use the second as well, but during this time I want to sell handmade items on the Internet (for example, on Etsy). I have a permanent employment contract and I want to keep my maternity leave. I do not have a certificate or similar document to register as a freelancer. Does the law allow me to continue to receive maternity leave and sell handmade items?
Thanks in advance!

maternity, income from handicrafts, declaration of income, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Stara Zagora Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
The option is to register a company in your name and carry out your business through it. You can also declare your income as a natural person by submitting an annual tax return for natural persons together with schedule 2 (the schedule for sole traders). The important thing in both options is that you do not indicate the insurance of the "General illness and maternity" fund.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
