Providing SAL
newly registered business
Qustion:
Hello. I have registered a company where I am the owner and the manager. The company currently has no activity and my question is, as I will be provided as an SAL, should I immediately apply for it to the NRA, provided that the company does not carry out any activity at the moment? And the other thing that interests me is how much longer can I post because the company will be dealing with online sales of goods?
Answer:
Hello,
I will answer the questions asked in order of their assignment.
First of all, with regard to your insurance, it is clear from your inquiry that you have made a company registration and have not been active until now. There are two options for you here. If you do not wish to pay social security contributions and you do not have any activity in this case, you can postpone the release of a declaration to the NRA to ensure that the company starts operations. If you wish to provide yourself voluntarily, even if the company has no real activity, you can file a SAL declaration with the NRA and start providing.
Regarding your question about the posting period, a little common is set in this way. Certainly from the moment you start to provide SAL once a month you will have to submit declarations to the NRA, to accrue accounting contributions, to prepare payment to the budget. Theoretically, with a small amount of work, the accrual accounting itself and the documents from the eventual business activity can be done once at the end of the year, but the obligation to submit the monthly declarations for the insurance to the NRA and the payment of the insurance contributions remains. Provided that in the course of your activity you fall under the hypothesis of compulsory registration under the VAT Act (turnover of BGN 50000, distance sales and other such situations described in Article 96 and Article 100 of the VAT Act), it you will need to file monthly VAT returns, which requires monthly posting of documents, sales logs, purchase logs, and declarations.
Keep in mind that when you sell goods online, you can very easily fall under the hypothesis of mandatory VAT registration.
Greetings.
