Question:
Hello!

I have internet sales for 2022. for about BGN 50,000 according to Econt. I don't have a company. I am a natural person. I have invoices for the goods for about BGN 42,000. What should I do to avoid problems with the National Revenue Agency?
Thanks in advance!

Answer:
Hello,
At the moment, the only thing you can do is to declare the circumstances you described in Appendix #2 to your Annual Tax Return for the income of individuals. You will owe 15% Tax on the realized profit. Also, your realized profit is included as insurance income and depending on whether you are insured, on what basis you are insured (if you are insured) and on what amount you have made insurance contributions (if you have made insurance contributions), you will have to declare and possibly enter insurances.

In order to carry out such commercial activity, you must necessarily be a registered trader according to the Commercial Act. We advise you to organize an on-site consultation, either with us or with our other colleagues, to gain a complete idea of how your business should look from an administrative, tax and insurance point of view. At the moment, even if you declare your income and pay the tax due, according to the Bulgarian legislation, your activity also gives rise to other commitments, which, as far as we understand, have not been met, and if this is established by the relevant authorities, sanctions may be imposed on you.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
