Employment contract and SOL insurance
Employment contract and SOL insurance
Question:
Hello!
At the moment I have an employment contract with an employer, but I want to start selling homemade cookies on the Internet (Facebook). I want this to be completely legal, that is, I am considering opening a company that is not subject to VAT, due to the low income I will have, and they will be received only by bank account. How is the issue from an insurance point of view? All activities of the company will be performed by me, ie there will be no staff. Is it obligatory to insure and submit D1 and D6?
Thanks in advance!
Answer:
Hello,
For the period in which your company will operate, you will have to insure at least as a self-insured person (as the owner of the company) at the minimum insurance threshold. However, if your employment contract already covers the maximum insurance threshold or the sum of your two insurances - employment contract and self-insured person exceeds the maximum insurance threshold, you will pay insurances calculated up to the amount of the maximum insurance threshold. Respectively, if the employment contract provides for an amount higher than the maximum insurance threshold, then as a self-insured person you will not owe insurance contributions.
We hope we have been helpful.
Greetings!
