E-commerce
Question:
Hello,
We need some advice on some issues.
For Amazon and e-bay sales, respectively, the payment is made by bank transfer. Receipt of amounts takes place on a certain date, in most cases it is not a single sale but several products per heap. Our question is, can we post the revenue in one invoice and separately add a document where, when and to whom the relevant products are sent?
Also, the products are mainly sold in America, shipped by courier, but without export declaration. We have a note from the courier company as proof of sending the product to the customer. Can this be considered correct action in the event of a NRA check?
In addition, is it purely documentary, is it a problem if an individual has a PayPal account and the amounts he receives send them to the company bank account, i.e. a third party that has nothing to do with the company sending money from the sale of the company, but invoices are issued to buyers?
Thanks for your time!
Answer:
Hello,
For e-commerce sales, in addition to issuing invoices to customers who request it, a set of reports is compiled. From these reports it should be clear which order what and where it was shipped, what and from where it was returned, how much was paid for the goods, how much is the shipping cost (couriers), etc. - in general, all sales information should be included in these reports. You should also keep track of the sales turnover you make in each EU country, and if you reach the turnover for statutory VAT registration in that country, you are required to register for VAT in that country.
Your PayPal account must be in the business name, otherwise you may have a problem with revenue fraud charges. When a PayPal account is in the company name, it is accounted for as a foreign currency account of the company. There is a potential opportunity to use a PayPal account of an individual if a trust account is concluded - in which case the account cannot be used for any purpose other than the needs of the company, the latter being obliged to pay a contractual agreement between the parties, which is subject to declaration and payment of income tax.
We hope we have been helpful.
Greetings!
