Question:
Hello!
What is needed to delete a Sole Proprietorship in the case of a deceased owner, the company has not been operating since 1997. There are 3 heirs. Can one of the heirs submit an application for deletion of a Sole Proprietorship? How much will the service cost and what documents must be prepared to submit the application in addition to a death certificate and a certificate of heirs.
Thank you in advance!

Answer:
Hello,
Such types of services are performed by lawyers and unfortunately we cannot assist you. We recommend that you contact a lawyer.
However, since we also have practical experience with our clients, we can share what we know as a procedure.
Deletion of a Sole Proprietorship occurs after submitting a notification to the Registry Agency. When it comes to deletion due to death, a certificate of heirs is also attached to the application. In addition, you must also provide a certificate from the National Social Security Institute that all payrolls (insurance statements) have been submitted to them, as well as several declarations from the heirs. The entire procedure lasts about 2 months and all documents can be submitted by 1 person with a power of attorney from the heirs (it can be 1 of the heirs with a power of attorney from the others or a third person with a power of attorney from all the heirs). The state fee at the Registry Agency is 30 leva when submitted by hand and 15 leva when submitted electronically. Documents can only be submitted electronically by a lawyer with a lawyer's signature.
We hope that we have been useful to you!
Best regards!
