Can a bank employee be appointed as chief accountant in a company?

Question:
Hello!
Can the internship as "Banking employee, customer service" be counted as accounting, for appointment to the position of "Chief Accountant" in a company?
Thanks in advance!

job description, internship by specialty, bank clerk, accounting internship, chief accountant, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
the short answer is no.
The job description of the chief accountant also includes drawing up and signing the Company's reports. According to Art. 35 of the Accounting Act, depending on the education you have, you must have a certain experience in the field of accounting, external, internal audit and financial inspection, tax audits or as a lecturer in accounting and control. In our opinion, "bank employee, customer service" does not fall into the areas specified in the law.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
