Bulgarian company operating in the EU. Insurance and tax
Bulgarian company operating in the EU.
Insurance and tax
Question 1:
Hello! A company with headquarters in Bulgaria is established but with a place of business in Belgium. I want to hire workers from Bulgaria, how do I have to provide them for these three or four months while I work abroad? I want to pay their insurance contributions to BG. Thanks in advance!
Answer 1:
Hello,
You assign them to your company (registered in Bulgaria) and post them to the site where you will be operating in Belgium. When appointing and declaring employment contracts, you must comply with the legal framework and the requirements of the laws in Bulgaria.
Greetings.
Question 2:
On the occasion of the same company: I have given for translation and legalization the certificate of good standing of the company to serve me in Belgium. By appointing the workers and posting them I think their contracts to translate and legalize. Will this be enough to have no problems in Belgium or will I have to get a permit for each of my workers who will be posting? I want to be here in Bulgaria.
Greetings.
Answer 2:
Hello,
Please note that for the Belgian business, the Bulgarian company pays taxes under Belgian legislation (not taxes) for which you must notify the Belgian tax authorities and register the Bulgarian company with the tax authorities. You must be aware of Belgian tax legislation. The relations between the Bulgarian company and the workers it appoints in Bulgaria do not concern the Belgian insurance institutions. If you appoint Belgian citizens to work in a Bulgarian company, the applicable social security legislation in the EU is certified by a special A1 form issued by the state where the person is permanently established (for the Belgians - Belgium) and you will have to pay contributions to the accounts of the Belgian insurance institution under the requirements of the Belgian legislation. For the Bulgarians appointed and posted to Belgium, you will pay contributions under the Bulgarian legislation to the NSSI accounts.
Greetings.
