Selling toys in a grocery store

Selling toys in a grocery store

Question:
Hello!

I have a store that deals in the sale of food products at retail. Upon registration, I can sell anything without transporting people, cigarettes and alcohol. Can I use the same company to order children's toys from abroad (Belgium) to help a friend who wants to buy them for personal use. The value of the toys is about BGN 500.00 including transport (if that is important). Because the site requires a company to make the purchase. I guess I will have to declare the invoice issued by them. How do I declare the sale of these goods, since they will not be physically with me and sell them? If I take out a receipt of the invoice value, it's like I'm selling them to him, will that be ok?
Thanks in advance!

personal use, issuing an invoice, receipt, grocery store, accounting services, Varna, Ruse, Plovdiv, Burgas, Sofia
Answer:
Hello,
There is no problem at all to buy children's toys from Belgium. It's also no problem to sell them. It is important to note here that if your company is registered for VAT, when buying the toys from Belgium you will have to charge yourself 20% VAT, while at the same time you will be entitled to a tax credit for this VAT (in practice you will not you pay.) VAT in this case will be due when you sell the toys to your friend. To make it more clear that you have sold the toys and to be able to write them as sold, it is better to issue a receipt and an invoice in the name of your friend. (Since the company mainly sells food products, in case of a possible inspection by the tax administration, if it is not clear that you have sold the toys, they may consider that these are toys purchased for personal use and not recognize the listed toys together with the food goods as an expense. Then you will have to pay 10% profit tax.
We hope we have been helpful!
Greetings!
