Hairdressing business with a patent
Hairdressing business with a patent
Question:
Hello!
I have an 8-hour employment contract at a municipal enterprise with all the necessary insurance and tax deductions. Outside of my working hours, I would like to start working as a hairdresser. I can carry out this activity through a patent tax. I understood that I have to register with the Registry Agency and the municipal administration because of the patent. Do I have to register somewhere else? Do I have to issue receipts and what kind? Do I have to get insurance? Do I have to prove income and expenses and to whom?
Thanks in advance!
Answer:
Hello,
You must submit to the National Revenue Agency a declaration of OKD 5 for starting a business and insurance.
As a freelancer, you are not obliged to issue receipts from a cash register. You can issue such receipts from a cob. Of course, if it is more convenient for you, you can get a cash register and issue receipts from it.
Regardless of the fact that you are already insured under an employment contract, your commitment to insurance as a self-insured person does not cease. This obligation can only cease if you are insured at the maximum insurance income or if you are already self-insured on another basis (as owners and/or manager of a company).
The tax you owe is the patent tax itself, which is paid once a year to the municipality. However, in connection with your insurance, you must declare how much your real income is in order to determine the amount on which your insurance contributions should be calculated.
We hope that we have been useful to you!
Greetings!
