Hello!

I want to make an online Facebook store. I will buy goods from Ali Express mainly, but I will also have handmade products such as soaps and candles.

Questions:

1. Do I need a cash register? Apart from the fiscal receipt, what other notes should I issue? I have a registered company, not for VAT.

2. Do I need to register as a distributor for the products I buy? Or if not what do I need to do?

3. I asked for an invoice from the buyers from Ali Express, but they did not send it to me. What can I do?

To your questions:

1. Whether you need a cash register depends on how you will receive payments for your sales. If you receive payments only by direct bank transfer or by cash on delivery under an explicitly concluded contract with a licensed courier company, then you do not need a cash register. If you will receive payments in cash, by credit card or by cash on delivery, without having a contract with a licensed courier company, you will need to purchase a cash register to mark the relevant sales.

2. In principle, the trade and distribution of goods does not in itself require any additional registration and license. However, depending on the goods you will trade with, on whether, how and where you will store them, whether you will import or export them from / outside Bulgaria, you may fall into different regimes of registration / license. From the information you provide us, the minimum we would say you will have to do is that once you receive goods from outside the European Union, it is very likely that you will have to register with the Customs Agency. 3. In order for a product to pass customs in Bulgaria (and not only in Bulgaria), the product itself must be accompanied by some document certifying the quantity and price of the product. Ali Express, in itself does not sell goods, but is a platform on which companies sell their goods. Accordingly, you should not look for an invoice from Ali Express, but from the company that actually sells the goods to you. Without an invoice, you actually do not have a document with which to prove the quantity of purchased goods and accordingly you will have problems with tax.
